We regret to announce that the 2025 Ice Fishing Tournament will not continue due unstable Ice conditions resulting from warm temperatures and high winds.

Join us at Wellington Lake for a full day fishing tournament!

Saturday, February 15th, 2025

Tournament Time: 7:30am-3:30pm

Expedited Anglers Registration Time: 6:00am - 7:00am

Non-Expedited Anglers Registration Time: 7:00am - 7:30am

Anglers will be eligible for cash prizes, Wellington Lake Loot, friends, fun and more!

REGISTRATION AND FEES

SPACE IS LIMITED! PRE-REGISTRATION IS RECOMMENDED.

Anglers are highly encouraged to pre-register online to ensure they will have a spot in the tournament on the day of the event.

If you choose expedited check-in, there will be a designated line to help move you through the check-in process as quickly as possible and allow you to surpass all the slackers. Please make sure all paperwork is signed up before more than 48 hours prior to your arrival on February 13th, 2025, by 5pm to ensure the check-in process goes without delay.

Expedited Check-ins that have NOT signed both the 2025 Liability Waiver and 2025 Ice Fishing Rule Agreement will be sent to the BACK of the line with no mercy!

Pre-registration (expedited check-in) is $65/Adult and $35/Youth.

The check-in time for expedited is 6am-7am.

Pre-registration (non-expedited check-in) is $25/Adult and $15/Youth. With the remainder processed on the morning of the tournament at check-in.

Check-in time for non-expedited anglers is 7am-7:30am (no early check-ins).

Note: All Pre-registration fees are non-refundable.

If you choose non-expedited, the $25/adult and $15/Youth pre-registration fee will be applied toward your total entry fee on the day of the tournament. The remaining balance will be due at the time of check-in.

BY PRE-REGISTERING, YOUR CHECK-IN PROCESS WILL BE STREAMLINED, AND YOU WILL BE GUARANTEED A SPOT ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT.

IF the event changes due to conditions outside of our ability to control the Pre-registration fee is non-refundable.

ANY ANGLERS THAT ARE NOT REGISTERED BY 10 AM ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO FISH February 15TH, 2025.

RULES FOR TOURNAMENT

-AS ALWAYS CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY.

-FOR THIS TOURNAMENT WE WILL ALLOW ARTIFICAL BAIT and live bait BUT ENCOURAGE THE USE OF FLIES AND LURES.

-ANGLERS MUST BE COMPLETE REGISTERATION BY 10AM TO BE ABLE TO FISH ON February 15TH, 2025.

-DAY USE WILL BE OPEN FOR GUESTS JOINING THE ANGLERS AND WILL BE DISCOUNTED TO $10/DAY.

-ONLY ANGLERS WHO ARE REGISTERED IN THE TOURNAMENT ON February 15TH, 2025 ARE ALLOWED TO FISH THAT DAY.

-PRIZE WINNERS WILL BE DETERMINED BY MEASUREMENT SIZE OF THE THREE LARGEST FISH FROM EACH BRACKET.

-ANGLERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MEASURING THEIR OWN FISH AND MUST FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING PICTURES TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZES.

-ANGLERS MUST PURCHASE AN APPROVED FISHING MEASURMENT TOOL PROVIDED BY WELLINGTON LAKE or have their own device approved upon arrival. A proper Bump Board will be required, and some will be available for purchase or rental in the office.

-Never Place the fish directly on the Ice for a measurement. only measurement tools that allow the fish to be safely handled on the Ice will be allowed.
