Day Use is only open from Sunrise to Sunset.
You must be registered for day use by 4:30 pm otherwise our registration is closed.

DAY USE IS OPEN FOR ONLINE BOOKING!
We highly recommend pre-booking Day Use at least 24 hours ahead of time to ensure your access to the lake.
DO NOT call to book Day Use over the phone. Due to the excessive amount of phone calls, we are no longer booking Day Use over the phone. If you don’t pre-book Day Use 24 hours prior to your arrival, you will need to complete walk-up Day Use.
Walk-in Day Use Passes are extremely limited.

Each Online Day Use Reservation Slot is set up to accommodate 1 vehicle- Please Carpool! If your group is bringing more than one vehicle you will need to make another reservation for the additional vehicle(s).
Day Use rates are calculated per person and are payable by Credit/Debit card only- please use the drop-down menus to account for everyone in your party.
NO Walk-in Day Use Passes will be available after we have reached capacity and there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.
We do not offer Refunds, Credits, or exchanges for Day Use.
To streamline your check-in process, sign the digital waiver prior to arriving for day use.
Day Use Areas and Facilities:
Guests who visit the lake for Day Use are welcome to park in any of the Day Use parking areas- Minnow, Brown, Rainbow, Cutbow, Brookie and Waterfall.
Day Use Guests can walk the beach around the lake and fish from any Day Use area on the Lake.
There are first come, first served picnic tables, charcoal grills and fire rings in the Day Use areas. Day Users are not permitted to park, picnic or recreate in campsites. Guests are welcome to bring grills, but in the event of Stage 2 Jefferson County Fire Restrictions, only gas grills will be permitted (no charcoal).
Guests can use any of the vault toilet outhouses on the property.
Day Use Hours:
During the summer, day passes are valid from Sunrise to Sunset.
If you arrive before office hours, please use the Self-Register Kiosk located outside the main office on the front of the building.

Fishing is catch an release only; NO BAIT fishing, flies and lures only.
Pets:
Wellington Lake is pet-friendly! We allow well-mannered dogs with good recall, who are able to safely interact with other dogs and small children.
