Climbing the castle

The Pikes Peak Granite formation makes The Castle ideal for climbing! Reaching the top of the mountain is a technical climb; detailed information can be found online. The Castle is often accessed from the Wellington Lake property, but is on Forest Service property. Please make sure to follow all Forest Service rules and regulations.
