CamPING Cancellation Policy for 3 Month bookings

  • For Standard Bookings (non-advanced bookings) if a reservation is cancelled 14 days or more prior to the arrival date, a refund will be issued, minus a $25 cancellation fee for each regular site and a $75 cancellation fee for each group site cancelled. If a reservation is cancelled 14 days or less prior to the arrival date, the entire amount of the reservation will be non-refundable. We do not offer “partial cancellations,” wherein only selected nights are cancelled from a reservation.

  • *Advanced Bookings have a different cancellation policy, please see below for Advanced Booking Cancelation policy.

Camping cancellation policy for Advanced Bookings (3-months or more to arrival date)

  • Guests may reserve MORE than 3 months in advance of their desired check-in date by paying an additional Advanced Booking fee in addition to the campsite nightly rates. The additional fee is 75% of the nightly rate for both standard sites and group sites. Please refer to table above for full details on nightly rates and Advanced Booking fees.

  • If a request for cancellation of an Advanced Booking is received 14 days or more prior to the check-in date, the campsite nightly rates and sales tax will be refunded. The 75% Advanced Booking fees and associated taxes will not be refunded. Advanced Booking Fees are non-refundable.

  • If a request for cancellation for an Advanced Booking is received 14 days or fewer prior to the check-in date, no refund will be issued.

Travel Protection Booking Cancelation policy

  • Travel Protection Cancelations 14 days or less prior to the arrival date can be canceled here. Only guests who purchased this at checkout will be eligible. Please Click Here for Travel Protection Cancelations.

  • Wellington Lake does not refund Travel Protection booking fees. These fees are non-refundable once purchased.

  • Any retail items/rentals added to a Travel Protection booking reservation will be added to the Travel Protection booking fee. All items are included in the Travel Protection money back guarantee.

DAY USE CANCELLATION POLIcy

*There are no Refunds or Credits for Day Use Fees.

Rental Equipment Cancellation policy

  • If a cancellation is requested 15 days or more prior to the scheduled rental date, the guest will be refunded less a fee of $15 per kayak/board and $75/dock rental. If a cancellation is requested 14 days or fewer prior to the scheduled rental date, a refund will not be issued.

  • In the event of extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, as determined by Wellington Lake, guests may be provided the option to forfeit their reservation with the option to reschedule, based on availability. Refunds will not be issued for inclement weather.

  • Any retail items/rentals added to a Travel Protection booking reservation will be added to the Travel Protection booking fee. All items are included in the Travel Protection money back guarantee.

*Wellington Lake cannot make exceptions to the cancellation policy for issues such as adverse weather conditions or regional campfire bans. Nor can Wellington Lake issue “partial cancellations” wherein only selected nights of a campsite reservation are cancelled.

A $15 change fee is charged for any change in dates on a current reservation. If nightly rates change guest must pay difference in nightly rates. Refunds are NOT issued for change in nightly rates.
